About John Lee
John Lee is the Vice President of Financial Operations & Planning for AmeriGas Propane (since April 2016). In this position, he is responsible for financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting for the corporation, as well as the coordination of AmeriGas’s financial operations processes, including retail billing, lockbox and accounts receivable, credit and collections, payroll and accounts payable.
John came to AmeriGas in 2016 from Ascena Retail Group (formerly Charming Shoppes), where he served as Senior Vice President and Controller of its shared services function.
Prior to joining Charming Shoppes in 2001, John spent ten years in public accounting with Ernst & Young in Philadelphia.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce Engineering, with a concentration in Accounting and Finance, from Drexel University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
