Cashing in on Customer Referrals

AmeriGas customers have come to value our quality customer service, world-class safety, and 24/7 customer care.  But did you know that you can earn big rewards for referring us new customers?  We’ll give $100 for a new residential heating customer or $150 for a new commercial customer.  Plus when you refer three or more new customers you’ll qualify for our Xtra Referral Rewards program.  There’s no limit to the number of rewards you can earn!

How does it work?

First, give us the contact information for your friend, neighbor or family member.  You can fill out our online form, visit or call your local office or send in a referral form from an invoice insert.  Next we’ll contact the referred propane user.  Finally, if they become an AmeriGas customer we’ll put a credit on your account ($100 for residential heating or $150 for a commercial/business customer).  Not currently an AmeriGas customer?  We’ll setup an account and you can request a check.  Again, there’s no limit to the number of credits you can receive.  And the more people you refer, the more rewards you can get.

Xtra Referral Rewards

The more customers you refer, the more we’ll give you with our Xtra Referral Rewards program.  If you refer three new customers in a year, we’ll give you a bonus $25 credit.  If you refer four to eight new customer, we’ll give you a $50 bonus credit.  If you refer nine or more customers in a year, we’ll give you a bonus of $75 and enter you in a drawing to win free propane.

Thanks for choosing AmeriGas Propane.  We strive to be the most Reliable, Safest and most Responsive propane company in the US.  As always, feel free to contact us with any questions, comments or concerns.

We are thinking of installing a gas pool heater and have an estimate from Brian at Amerigas. We would like comments on the satisfaction and/or dissatiusfaction with these gas pool heathers from customers who have installed them. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hilde, we’re obviously partial to propane. The benefit of gas vs. electricity is that the gas heaters can heat the pool quickly since there is more Btus in propane compared with electricity. I’ve heard that the electric heaters never really turn off, since it takes longer to heat and must be run continuously to keep the water warm. Operating costs vary based on the efficiency of the heater and the cost of electricity and propane in your area. Gas heaters can be used only when you want to swim since they heat quickly, reducing your operating costs. If you live in a warmer climate and/or use your pool continuously, electric may be cheaper. However electric units tend to have a higher initial cost. I hope that helps!
