School Days Program Helps School Earn Even More

AmeriGas offers a unique program designed to benefit the schools in our communities. School Days from AmeriGas will give your school up to $2,000 per school year. These funds can be used for books, computers, sporting equipment, band equipment, art materials, vocational technical supplies…all the way to travel funds for that important educational trip.

Beaverdam Elementary School recently received $769.58 from AmeriGas Propane’s School Days program.

Here’s how it works!
Check with you PTO or Home & School Representative to make sure your school is participating. If not, interested schools can enroll in the program through their local AmeriGas office.

Save your AmeriGas receipts and bring them to school to deposit in the School Days Receipt Box – it’s that simple!

AmeriGas will total the gallons on the receipts and pay $0.02 per gallon, up to a maximum of $2,000 per year. Last year, two schools in Virginia, one school in Illinois, one school in Utah and one school in West Virginia received the maximum amount of $2,000!

A new school year is quickly approaching, so the time is right to sign up your local school for the School Days program to help them turn gallons into more dollars!

Our school sent in a School Day Receipt in 2010 and NEVER received any money. Although it wouldn’t have been much ANY amount helps our very small school.
